My name is Cosima-Klarissa Lebéus.
I was born September, 6th 1980 in Frankfurt, Germany.
I was born with Down-Syndrome.

My zodiac sign is virgo.
My hair is blond and my eyes are blue.

I am a real artist since I love to draw. Indeed draw a lot of paintings and drawings and I had an exposition of my works in 1999. I like to read books especially books that are concerned with biology, animals and medicine and I like to learn more of the human body, its functions and reproduction.

I am also very passionate about music. I like to hear classic but also pop and hiphop music. It mostly depends on my mood to what I listen. I take piano lessons at the Lehenhof (where I live) and I like to drum with my bongos. Also I can play the flute. Dancing I love too and I very much enjoy the oriental dancing. I have a costume of my own that I wear when I practice. When I listen to my favorite CDs I can sing a long most of the songs and that is very fun.

My school was the "Albrecht-Strohschein-Schule"  in Oberursel a town near Frankfurt/M Germany. It is an anthroposophical school and I liked it very much. I most enjoyed biology and german language lessons. Mathematics have allways been a little hard to understand, and I never really liked math.

After school I decided to become a grown-up. I wanted to be independant and live my own life. So I made the decision to move out.

I moved to the "Alfred-Delp-House" in Oberursel, but I did not really like it here. My mother asked about and by chance we got to know the Lindengarten in bavaria.

I applied and had a trial period of 6 months. I liked the Lindengarten very much and I decided to stay there. My personal coach helped me whenever I had difficulties no matter of what kind.

I found the weaving fabulous and I weaved a large and wonderful carpet of white wool for my sister and a very pretty tea towel of many colors for my mom.

I also weaved small and large baskets, that can be used in many different ways for example as waste-paper basket, laundry basket or just for storage.

My sister used to do a lot of horseback riding when she was younger. When I was small I did some horseback riding as part of a therapy but the horses were so big to me, and I felt so small compared to them. I  was a little frightened. At the Lindengarten I became friends with a small horse and after a while I had confidence and I even dared to feed and pet.  I even led it by the hand and rode it. I am very proud of that because I had no more fear.

In general I love all animals. Except wasps and other insects. My favorite animals are cats. I love them very very much. Dogs I like also if they are kind and not so rough and frenzied.

From November 1990 until November 1991 my mother and we two children lived in Canada (Montreal). My mother worked at the Camphill Village Maison Emmanuel. I also went to school in Canada and I learned a lot for example english. I have practiced a lot and I still do. I often read my schoolbooks and exercisebooks to improve my skills. I also write letters to my former canadian teacher.

Since january 2003 I live at the Lehenhof which is also a Camphill Village. I really like it there and I feel very comfortable at my new home. I have worked at the bakery already and at the moment I work at the label workshop. I like that work because it has much responsibility and it is fun. I like to help other peoples who for example sit in a wheelchair or have difficulties eating. I assist them during my free time. I enjoy that commitment very much.
